Before Print Built, we poured pints and served meals in our small, local brewery and restaurant — a place where neighbors gathered, friendships formed, and the heartbeat of our community could be felt every day.
We built our lives in Severance, Colorado, back when it was still one of the more affordable places to live. But when the pandemic hit, everything changed. We watched prices soar, young adults unable to leave their parents’ homes, and multi-generational households strained by the lack of space and opportunity.
It was painful to see — not from the sidelines, but from right here in the middle of it. Our friends, our customers, our own community were caught in a housing crisis that kept getting worse. We realized we couldn’t just watch it happen.
We sold our brewery and restaurant to take on a new mission: revolutionizing local housing. We discovered 3D concrete printing — a technology with the power to build high quality homes in hours instead of months, using fewer resources at a lower cost. Now with our 35×35 gantry printer, we are able to create affordable, sustainable homes in Northern Colorado — one layer at a time — because we believe everyone deserves a place to call home.
